Well, I've been really busy since I last updated this. I did make lots more enamelled birds, but forgot to take a picture of them before they went to the Surrey Guild fo Craftsmen's Gallery at Milford for the Surrey Open Studios exhibition. Oops! Hope some come back but not too many. I was very busy last month trying to do some really good images of my work to submit for the Guild of Enamellers exhibition in Ravenstein, Netherlands. I spent several days trying to take some photos that were good enough and the required file image size. Didn't really understand it all but once I sorted my megabytes from my kilobytes, and found ot that my camera was set to a lower image size, I manged to work it out and get some really good pictures. Four of my pieces were accepted which I was very excited about. Unfortuately three of them were made quite recently so hadn't been hallmarked so it was all a bit of a rush to do them and post them off. Done at last. Also managed to pick up a few commissions so very busy for the next few weeks. One of them is for a clock with a London Bus design which is quite an exciting challenge. I'll post some images when I get started.

I made this bird after seeing the 'Make a Bird a Week' challenge. I've only done one so far I'm afraid but I hope to revisit this theme during the year. Hope you like it.
